1, UK, June 30th 2006 From South Normanton, Alfreton, Derbyshire we be riding down
the M1 from Junction 28 to junction 6 onto the M25 over the Dartford
crossing then onto the M20 which will take us to the Channel Tunnel,
Folkestone, crossing to Calais, we will be having our first overnight stop
in Calais.Distance for day 1 - 220 miles Day 2, France, 1st July, From Calais we will get on the A16, then on to
A26 heading down A1/A3 to the
outskirts of Paris on the south eastern section the peripherique, onto the
A6 B and A6 joining on to the A10 we will then be continuing down
Orleans were we will be staying overnight.Distance for day 2 - 256 miles Day 3, 2nd July. From Orleans, we join the A71 down to Clermont Ferrand onto the A75 to take us down to Bessan in the south of France. From Bessan, we join the A9 with the Mediterranean just a few miles out of sight, to take us to Narbonne for our 3rd overnight stay of the trip. This days section of the ride will be our longest, but probably the easiest with only a few road changes. Distance for day 3 - 416 miles Day 4 Entering Spain, 3rd July. Continuing on the A9 past Perpignan in the south of France then passing through the Spanish border at Le Perthus on to the A-7 then turning off to our destination of Lloret de Mar on the Costa Brava in the Mediterranean . This was our shortest section of the trip and time to relax, spending a few days break in Lloret de Mar. Distance for Day 4 - 119 miles Day 5, 6, 7 & 8, 4th - 7th July will be spent around Lloret de Mar area, taking a break for a few days looking at the local sites and attractions

9, July 8th 2006 Back on the road again, From Lloret de Mar we get on
the A-17 heading south to Barcelona then go west on the N-11 towards Lleida,
from there, we then head North West on the N-240 to Huesca, then head North
on the A-23 onto the E-7 to take us to the French border through the "Tunnel
du Somport" onto the E07 after entering France then left when we get to the
D918 to take us to Lanne en Baretous and staying the night.
![]() Distance for day 9 - 302 miles Day 10, 9th July, We will be spending a day here, seeing the sights of the Pyrenees at Lanne en Baretous and staying the night again. Distance for day 10 - --- miles Day 11, 10th July. From Lanne en Baretous we head towards the Atlantic ocean on the D459 and onto the D59 towards Cheraute then onto the D112 onto the D11 and D23, then getting on the D933 towards Salie de Bearne, joining the D430 back onto the Motorway A64 then D1 and A63 and N10 - A63 - A630 - N230 around Bordeaux onto the A10 to the outskirts of Saintes where we will stay overnight. Distance for day 11 - 257 miles Day 12, 11th July. From Saints, we will be on the A10 until we reach Saran, Orleans Distance for Day 12 - 220 miles Day 13, 12th July. Saran, Orleans, details Yet to be added Distance for Day 13 - 255 miles Day 14, 13th July. Back in the UK, all motorway back in the UK, M20, M25 and M1. Distance for Day 14 - 220 miles
