SUZUKI GSX1400 BROCHURES

Brochures of the UK GSX1400

This page is for the brochures that appeared in the UK for the GSX1400 that I have collected over the years, unfortunately my scanner broke and I had to take pictures of them on my digital camera so they aren't the best quality, I have managed to find every model year from the range including the ZK7.

 K2 Brochure GSX1400 range

K2 Brochure from 2001-2002 A double sided brochure in folded into A4 size, effectively making 6 pages in A4 size, although I had to split it into 7 photos to get the detail correct for reading or two of the pages would have been split in half.

K3 Brochure 2003 GSX1400 range

The K3 brochure is not so glamorous, only being a single A4 sheet printed both sides

K5 Brochure (2004) GSX1400 range

The 2005 model GSX1400 K5 brochure is also only a single A4 sheet printed both sides. K5 has the first major changes since its launch in late 2001, most evident of which is the single 4-1 exhaust system

K6 Brochure (2006) GSX1400 ranges (and Final Edition)

The K6  2006 range brochure and the 2006 street range brochure and is also only a single page spread. No separate brochure street as I know of. An interesting note is that the 2006 K6 literature in the brochures has no mention of the "Final Edition" GSX1400, Suzuki introduced the Final Edition K6 in spring 2006 with a "GSX1400 Final Edition" graphic and a sporty looking Yoshimura "Dual Oval" 4-1 exhaust system. The Final Edition was a free dealer fit option fitted to stock K6 models. The Final Edition was mentioned on the Suzuki web site but with no picture of the Yoshimura exhaust until late 2006. Rumour had it that the GSX1400 K6 would be the last ever model of the GSX1400 to be sold and phased out in the UK in December 2006 being confirmed by dealers. However this turned out not to be true.

K7 Brochure (2007) GSX1400 range (and Final Edition)

I was one of the first to find out the K7 was going to be sold in the UK before it hit the showrooms,  from Suzuki sending me the 2007 Suzuki range brochure in January 2007, as far as all the 1400 owners knew and from being told by dealers there was to be no K7 in the UK. I had found out the K7 was going to be in parts of Europe and Japan back in Nov 2006. Though the GSX1400K7 name has been dropped in favour of the new label GSX1400FE, yet the Yoshimura exhaust and Final edition decal is still a dealer fit free option. This second incarnation of the Final Edition is sure to be its last, as we suspect that it will be sold up until the launch of the controversial B-King concept come production bike, which will be launched Autumn 2007.  Note the black K7 is not available for the UK market but is shown on the global Suzuki brochure below far right

ZK7 Brochure (2007) GSX1400 Special Edition (not Sold in UK / Europe)

The Special Edition ZK7 marked the end of the line for production for the GSX1400 worldwide, the UK and Europe having their final editions a year earlier so we didn't see this version in Europe. I tried to get the English brochure from a contact in Japan, but unfortunately he sent me the brochure in Japanese, although a nice four page brochure
